The 8 week PQ Program with Laurie Shiers:
Prep Week
You'll have a private one-hour coaching session with me over Zoom. We'll hone in on your program goals, set you up for success, and explore what you want to create for yourself during the 8 weeks of practice and beyond. (To be scheduled for the week of February 15th.)
Week 1
You'll learn to boost your self-command muscle through innovative 10-second PQ Reps that develop your ability to come back to your senses. This enables you to run your brain rather than being run by your Saboteur-hijacked brain. Self-command is key to intercepting unhelpful mental habits and rewiring your brain to respond more effectively. (Psst! Saboteurs= inner critics)
Week 2
For this entire week, you'll intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. You discover how judging yourself, others, and circumstances is a key source of your stress and quite damaging to your performance. Most people discover their Judge to be far more prevalent and damaging than they suspected.
Week 3
This week you'll intercept and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur (yep, we all have more than one!) You'll identify yours through the Saboteur Assessment. To give you an idea, the Saboteurs are called Avoider, Controller, Hyper-Achiever, Hyper-Rational, Hyper-Vigilant, Pleaser, Restless, Stickler, and Victim.
Week 4
After weakening your Saboteurs, it is now time to strengthen your Sage, the wise counterpart to your Saboteurs. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all your positive emotions, and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear mind.
Week 5
This week, we'll boost your Sage powers. The Sage region of the brain enables 5 primary powers. These 5 powers combine to form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success.
Week 6
Now you're ready to use your Sage's Navigate and Activate powers to take clear-headed, laser-focused, decisive action. You'll:
Completion Week
In this final session, you discover how to continue using your PQ tools for a variety of work and life applications. We'll hold our final Monday pod meeting where I'll reinforce key PQ concepts, answer questions, and celebrate your accomplishments!

Each week, Shirzad guides you through experiential exercises that deepen and personalize your understanding of the mental fitness tools outlined above. You'll leave inspired and energized for the week's daily practices. You'll watch these lessons on your own time, prior to our Monday live sessions.

I'll guide our discussion about the weekly practices, sharing insights and learnings and help you apply the mental fitness tools to your daily lives.
